Contrast Fuego ´08 longbase
This evolution of the Contrast Fuego is mainly thought for the flattest and most slippery tracks. With its new distance among axles increased in 30 mm, a softer chassis 4 mm thick and several improvements in the geometries of the wishbones, we have managed to get a car that makes driving easier in hard, dry and low road-holding tracks.
The novelties of this evolution are:
- New long chassis and radioplate with a distance between axles enlarged in 30mm.
- New front supports with bigger possibilities of the roll centre adjustment.
- New front and rear uprights with bigger bearings of 19mm and new suspension geometries.
- New rear upper wishbones.
- New transmission gears made in steel with a hardened treatment.
With these changes we have improved the easiness of driving, the features in slippery conditions and the general resistance of the car.
The changes in uprights, wishbones, front main supports and transmission are also incorporated to the model Contrast Fuego with short chassis.
