MCD Drift serie en nieuwe MCD Drift kappen

New 1/5 scale DRIFT cars from MCD

A new 1/5 scale 4WD DRIFT CAR is being made by MCD this year.
Drifting is the latest craze, and everyone who has seen him drive knows just how well the MCD rally cars can be made to drift in Sinan's expert hands, so just imagine what this new car will be like to drive when the "King of Drift" designs it specifically for this purpose.

The new car will still be 4WD (of course), and it follows Sinans principle of not making any cars that would conflict in any way with other manufacturers products - he likes to be different!

This car will feature special drift tyres made by MCD, and will be supplied with the MCD Evo body.

An all new "Drift Car" body will also be made early next year that typifies the customised high powered types being raced in the real Drift series world-wide, and alternative bodies will follow.

The best bit, is that this new car will retail at around £599.00 including vat here in the UK, and it should be in the shops around Christmas time this year.

The car can also be supplied with a factory fitted 26cc engine for just £100 more, so this will give a lot of 4WD fun for a very reasonable price - who says top 1/5 scale 4WD European made cars need to be expensive!

This car will be made completely in the MCD factory, so you know it will be strong and have full spares and service support here in the UK, along with our 20 years plus of experience with large scale model cars to support it.

We will develop a DRIFT Championship series here in the UK to support this brand new class of "racing" (showing off more like it) that can be held almost anywhere, as we don't need any special place to do it.

Any reasonable surface can be used from tarmac to shale so you can practice just about anywhere you feel safe to do so whenever you feel the need to DRIFT Large Scale.

New DRIFT car works!

The new 4WD DRIFT car from MCD has been tested yesterday - and it is FANTASTIC!
The first days test driving with the new MCD 4WD DRIFT car was a spectacular success.

Although the finalised tyre moulding is not yet completed, the rest of the car is ready for sale - and working very very well!

Some of MCD's own slick tyres were modified to make them DRIFT and even Sinan himself was impressed at this first official DRIFT test.

The Evo body looked the part, and Sinan is now making his own DRIFT decal set to give the authentic DRIFT car look.

Video footage of the next test session will be recorded and uploaded onto this site for you all to see just how good this new car really is.

We are now able to take orders for this new 1/5 scale 4WD car, complete with a 26cc engine for just £699.00 including vat. You can order your car online or by phone from Rossendale Models (http://www.rossendalemodels.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or 01706 250007).

You can also ask your local model shop to order it for you and we will send it to them as fast as the first cars arrive.

The new DRIFT car idea was instigated by Bob at King Cobra only last week, and Sinan has already built it and tested it with only the final details remaining to be completed.

This shows the awsome potential of the MCD factory, where every single part is made "in house" showing just how fast new developments can be made on the brand new machinery investments made during this last year.

We have a lot more new ideas to work on with MCD in the very near future, so keep looking on this site to see the surprising new products we are about to launch.

Remember the MCD motto - "put the power down on all four" and see just how much fun you can really have with your 1/5 scale car without breaking the bank!
