All the important parts of this unbeatable race winning car remain the same - but the new car adds a lot of alloy parts to an already highly successful 4WD design.

The new car gains a rear bumper to match the front, and an alloy post betweeen the rear wing stays to stop flex ( and provide an "unofficial" carry handle).

All of the upper chassis plates are now alloy - this includes the front support, radio tray and brake support. Underneath these, the 3 diff mounting stands are all machined from solid alloy.

The two rear tank supports have also been changed from plastic to alloy, and the axles have left and right handed nuts so the wheels are always self tightening as the car drives!

The rear shock absorbers are even longer than previously, and all four shock absorbers are of a new revised internal design. New alloy shock tower extensions make the space to fit these monsters.

Mud scrapers are included to fit inside the wheel rims to literally "scape" the mud off of the wheels as they rotate.

Both sets of main gears are now machined from solid steel with lightening holes on the bigger ones to keep the weight down.

The drive axles now feature a "special" hardening process to prevent snapping following a heavy impact, ( it is possible to fix them in a vice and smash them with a hammer until they bend - but they still don't break).

The usual Competition specification including front and rear anti roll bars and a spares support pack remain included, along with a smart new "pre-cut" set of decals.

Overall a big step upwards that is likely to extend the enormous gap that already exisits between the MCD 4WD buggy, and "other" 4WD cars.

The cost of this car is naturally higher than the previous model, and the UK retail price is expected to be around £1200.00 including vat. Fantastic good value compared to the lesser rivals.

The good news is that all owners of the current Race Runner Sport and Competiton cars can easilly upgrade to this new model as all of the new parts are available to "bolt on" to your existing car.
